The Uses Of Tropical Rainforests
Climate- The tropical rain forests act as heat and water pumps. They release moist into the atmosphere, then, comes back as rain. This is the cycle of the rain forest. If the rain forest somehow got cleared, the water cycle won't be able to run as it is, temperature would increase and, deserts/ droughts could form.
Medicines- Tropical rain forests are important sources of medicines. 1/4 of all modern ,medicines came originally from tropical rain forests. Most of them were first discovered and tested by indigenous people.
Food- Tropical rain forests supplies food as well. Some food that is supplied by tropical rain forests include; coffee, cocoa, fruits, nuts, spices, rice, rubber, raisins, cane etc.
Species- Over half the world's animal and plant species lives in the tropical rain forest. The climate in the rain forest makes it suitable for lots of different kinds of species.
Oxygen- The tropical rain forests play a big part when we talk about the oxygen. They inhale carbon dioxide and exhales oxygen. Lots of the world's oxygen are supplied by tropical rain forests, even though they might only be in certain places.
Logging Companies- One major thing that tropical rain forests are used for is used for logging companies. The wood is then used for furnitures, flooring, construction, and many other wood products.
